What do you think about the impact of crowd presence in sports betting?

I've been thinking about how much crowd presence can affect a game, especially in leagues like the English Premier League or La Liga. It's clear that home advantage plays a role, but does it make a difference in how we approach betting on these games? For instance, when a team has a strong fan base backing them, does that influence how you place your bets? Do you take into consideration player performances in front of their home crowd compared to away games? I'd love to hear how everyone factors in the atmosphere of a stadium when evaluating match outcomes. Do you think it's a significant aspect, or do most bettors stick strictly to stats and form?

Man, I feel you on the whole crowd thing. It really can change the vibe of a match, especially in soccer. Home teams often get that boost from the fans. Like, in the Premier League, places like Anfield or Old Trafford are known for their electric atmosphere. That energy? It can make all the difference in how players perform. When I’m looking at bets, I definitely consider how a team’s been doing at home versus away. Some teams really struggle when they’re away from home, even if their squad is stacked. If a team has a strong home record and they've been winning a lot in front of their fans, I’m more likely to back them, man. But I also keep an eye on injuries or suspensions that might affect the game, ya know? Stats are important, but the crowd's vibe can push a team over the edge. It's something you gotta keep in mind if you wanna place smart bets. Just don't forget that the house always has an edge, so there's no sure thing!

It does influence I think. Some teams who have strong support who's fans follow them to almost every game, in my opinion, tend to perform better because they feel the sense of community. Also, the louder they are the more punch it gives I think :)
